As things start to return to more normal ways of operating, we are still making sure we have the right measures in place for our guests.

We’ve made a range of changes over the last 2 years to make sure we're open in a way that is appropriate but doesn’t detract from our warm welcome, great Scottish Glamping accommodation & gorgeous views of the Cairngorms countryside, including:
ON-SITE GENERALLY
We have installed automatic hand san stations on the outside of both the Office and the Wash House (our toilet and shower block).

We now take contactless Card Payments on-site as well as cash.
OUR PODS & SHEPHERD’S HUT
Our accommodation is always cleaned thoroughly and to a high standard. We adopted enhanced cleaning protocols back in 2020 which are now permanent.

Each accommodation has fresh pillow and mattress protectors for each stay as well of course as lovely freshly laundered linens, blankets and towels.

COMMUNAL FACILTIES
Our Tea Shack is now open as normal, with stocks of tea, coffee, hot chocolate & herbals teas for our guests to choose from.

Our communal cooking & dining space, The Snug, is also now fully open, with access for guests to books and games. The Snug is a cosy indoor space with comfy seast & a wood burning stove if the weather isn't brilliant outdoors! The wood burner is still bookable for cooking for those who want to plan ahead (there is no additional charge for this).
OUR TOILETS & SHOWERS
We use environmentally friendly biocidal cleaning products which are certified to EU standards EN1276, EN14476 and EN1650, with a PSLog6 kill rate - meaning that they will kill 99.9998% of all germs.

Guests can sanitise their hands at our automatic hand san station on both entering and leaving the bathrooms.
​
Bathroom lighting is automatic, so there are no light switches, minimising touch points.
​
Bathroom windows are left on the latch at all times, to ensure ventilation, and there are extractor fans as well. The bathrooms are heated, so they will still be cosy and warm even with the windows on the latch.
